"The youth had a busy Fall -- They helped at the pantry; they designed and auctioned off Christmas wreaths (thanks to those who bought them); caroled at a local retirement home; delivered some of the Angel gifts; and went bowling. Whew!

The next six months are going to be equally as busy. Some will formally begin their Christian walk by attending an 8-week confirmation class starting March 4th, 10:30 - 12:00 AM. Pastor Dennis will be sending out a letter with more details to the parents of those with teens eligible for this class. Those completing the course will be brought into full church membership on Pentecost Sunday in May. A thank you in advance to all of you who will be teaching the classes, mentoring the youth, and praying for them and their families. The other major activity will getting ready for the mission trip to the Lakota Reservation in South Dakota June 2 - 9th. The teens will be planning and holding various fund raisers to earn about $2,500 for the trip. Those who attend the Sunday night youth meetings will also be preparing themselves mentally and spiritually for the experience."
