The pantry ministry continues to grow in volunteers and customers. We estimate that the pantry has served well over 3000 of our neighbors since it opened in April 2011 and in November it provided 43 bags of food to 21 community families. We continue to need starchy foods like Hamburger Helper and boxed potatoes. We also need glass JARS, JARS, JARS.

The 2012 plans include expanding the number of organizations that donate food and volunteers. While the pantry is a part of the Westside CARES group, we will apply to become a Care and Share Premier Site so that we can take advantage of services and products Care and Share offers. Thanks to all who have so generously volunteered their time, talent and treasures last year to this much needed ministry.
