Rev. C. Dennis Shaw – Senior Pastor

		Dennis brings to Stratmoor Hills a varied background in music, business, the military and the church, but he feels all those experiences help him to better serve the Christ. He received a music degree from Georgia State University, a business degree from Rochester (N. Y.) Institute of Technology and a seminary degree from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC. Dennis has been a pastor in churches in Virginia and Colorado. His passion is teaching, preaching and working with youth. His focus in teaching is finding the Word of God in unusual places, like the movies. His preaching is biblical. Working with the youth renews him. Dennis enters the ministry after more than 23 years in the military. He and his wife Marilyn White have four adult children living in Virginia and Texas. Rev. Sue Harmon - - Minister for Pastoral Care

		Sue retired from the Air Force in 2007 after spending twenty years in clinical laboratory management and operational test and evaluation. Sue was commissioned as a provisional deacon in June 2010, and began serving as minister of pastoral care in July 2010. Sue holds a Masters in Specialized Ministry in Pastoral Care from Iliff School of Theology. She is a trained Stephen Minister, and she has completed four units of clinical pastoral education. Feeling called to share the journey with those who are suffering, Sue concentrates her work in pastoral care, visiting the sick, the imprisoned, and entering into holy conversation with those who are troubled. Sue enjoys travel, and she has traveled extensively in the US and around the world. Sue especially loves spending time in the mountains where she enjoys fishing, hiking, and being out in God’s creation and communing with God. She loves to read anything from fiction to theology.

Musicians

Tiffany Jolicoeur

		Tiffany graduated in 1998 from the University of New Mexico with her Master's Degree in Piano Performance. She was a member of the Albuquerque Academy from 2000 to 2004 working with children from ages 3 to 6. Since then she has been teaching piano privately to all ages, from age 5-75. She has also been involved in teaching general music to pre-school aged children, teaching at three different private schools in the Albuquerque area. Tiffany has been the choir director of a youth choir at Monte Vista Christian Church in Albuquerque, which included handbells as well. In addition to keyboards, Tiffany plays percussion and harpsichord. She has most recently taken the position at Stratmoor Hills United Methodist Church as the Adult Choir Director.

Gina Wolfe

		Stratmoor Hills UMC Praise Choir is a small informal group who love praising God through music. Our music is generally light and simple, and filled with a great deal of passion and joy. We meet on Wednesday evenings from 7pm until 8pm for practice. Gina Wolfe, has been with Stratmoor Hills United Methodist Church for 5 years. Her love for music began very early with music lessons around 6 years old, and continuing through high school and beyond. She was lead singer/song writer for a gospel group by the name of Chalice, and played all over Colorado. Always her heart has been in singing and playing for the Lord and hopes to see our music program grow. Please feel free to talk to Tiffany or Gina anytime with questions about our music ministry.
